Little Urban Princess by TouchyBooks is a beautifully illustrated story about a young woman (or older teen) who is growing up in the city and looking for a fairytale lifestyle.
I just love the mellow music that makes me think of a tiny cafe along the river in Paris, and the genuinely lovely drawings that accompany it. The story has a nice rhyming pattern that flows very well when read aloud, and will help introduce your young reader to new vocabulary such as: enchanted, savored, annoys, incenses, and reality.
The interactive features are on the simple side with only some touch-and-move features per page; however, on this book I like that because any more would have taken away from the feel of the story.
Little Urban Princess would be great for older girls and teens, or for any Mom too:)
