TouchyBooks: Aladdin

TouchyBooks version of the classic story of Aladdin is one of those stories you can read over and over with different twists and turns every time! I have to admit that I have read this one a few times myself without the kids around!  Why?  Because it reminds me of the Chose Your Own Adventure books that I used to love.

As the reader, you get to decide the path that Aladdin takes throughout the story.  From deciding if he should take the stranger who calls himself his 'uncle' home, to deciding which door to take in the hidden garden.

I also liked the music and graphics that were perfectly suited for an Arabian story; however, I did feel that some of the images were just a little too dark to view easily (example: the stairs in the hidden chamber).  TouchyBook's Aladdin would be a hit for any age child, but especially for those 9 and up.  I went back a few times and picked different paths for the story and was very happy to see that the result was a completely changed story (not just a page or so different).

This one will be a hit for the entire family and great for some of those pre-teens out there!
