Kid's Music Series: Love Me For Who I Am by Brady Rymer

Today's CD is brought to you by Grammy Nominee Brady Rymer called Love Me For Who I Am.  This happy upbeat compilation was a huge hit with all of us, and I just can't wait to tell you...I gave it a 5 out of 5!
Love Me For Who I Am is a CD that was inspired by Rymer's time spent at Celebrate the Children School in New Jersey whose population of students are mostly autistic or other related conditions.  Every CD that is sold will donate five percent of proceeds to Autism Speaks (a non-profit research and advocacy group).

Though this CD has songs that were inspired by situations relevant to an autistic child, all the songs really speak to any child.  After all, what child could not relate to songs with titles such as:
  • Picky Eater
  • Who Wants To Wear Shoes?
  • I Don't Like Change
  • Tune Out
I really, truly love every song on this CD (which there are 10), but my all time favorite has to be "Squish Me, Squeeze Me."  This hysterical song about "hold me tighter than an anaconda" makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside thinking about how great it feels to get a big bear hug from my kids.  I crack up every time that line is followed up with "like 10 people riding in the back of a Honda!"  I mean seriously...insert hysterical laughing from the kids (ok, me too) here.

Brady Rymer really nailed this CD right on the head with the relevant songs, upbeat, happy tempos, and very creative lyrics!  Oh, and I can't forget to mention that Laurie Berkner does some of the vocals too!

Love Me For Who I Am is a MUST-HAVE!  Honestly, if I had 6 stars below I would give it one of those.
