Teether Series: Dano Baby Ducki

Does the 3 second rule apply to your child's teether?  Well, maybe not...but do you ever wonder what exactly your child's teether is made of, and how healthy is it for him to chew on?  I certainly do.  That is why I was really excited to try out some teethers from Dano Baby who specialize in teethers free from BPA, PVC, phthalates and lead.

The cute Dano Baby Ducki reminds me of a retro toy from the 50s with its simple yet stylish design.  The surface of the Ducki is extremely firm which was a hit with Mr. F!  The entire Ducki is a biting surface, yet he seemed to like chewing on the most obvious points on the beak and tail.  I really noticed that the rounded shape of the Ducki was extremely easy for Mr. F to grasp and hold between both hands while gnawing on it.  And gnaw he did!

One feature I especially like is that the entire bottom portion of the Ducki opens for easy cleaning (yet has a latch so it does not completely detach and get lost).  This feature allows the Ducki to remain mold-free!  You can take him in the tub, or just let your little one drool all over it, then just throw it in some warm soapy water to clean it off.  I left mine to air dry overnight with the bottom portion open, and it completely dried out by morning.

The Dano Baby Ducki is great for baby's of any age because it can be used as a toy as well as a teether.  It comes in pink, blue and classic yellow, and would make a cute decoration on top of a baby shower gift.
