Teether Series: Chewy Q

When I first received the Chewy Q, I thought it looked like a dog's chew toy, but later discovered that its simple design and texture were a hit with Mr. F.

According to the manufacturer, Chewy Tubes:
  • are made of a "thermo-elastic polymer material which is FDA Approved" (which is extremely firm).
  • were "originally designed to be used with the Jaw Rehabilitation program" (which I love given that I myself have TMJ, and have even had jaw surgery).
  • are latex-free and do not contain any PVC, lead or phthalates.
The design I received is very simple (in the shape of the letter Q):

I tested this teether with Mr. F who really enjoyed holding the ring portion while biting down on the protruding limb. He seemed to like the very hard surface, which makes sense given that he enjoys chewing on wooden train tracks and Duplo Legos!

I would suggest this teether for babies and toddlers who are getting their front and side teeth.  I do not feel that this teether would do well for toddlers who are getting molars, given that it is incapable of reaching the back gums.
