Baby Bella Maya Carseat Covers: Make That Dirty Seat Look Designer

Baby Bella Maya is the makers of custom covers for your infant and toddler carseats as well as Baby Bjorn covers and other cute items.  I first discovered them via Totsy.com (if you don't sign up for this site, check out my ad in right sidebar for great deals) and feel in love with the designer look of their products at a fraction of the price.
When I had previously shopped for toddler car seat covers I found some great ones, but they were all around $140 or more! One thing I love best about Baby Bella Maya carseat covers is that they are $70, or even less if you use the 15% off code below just for being a MLME follower!

The toddler covers from Baby Bella Maya are meant to fit the Britax Marathon or any other similar shaped carseat (see example below):
The carseat cover we decided to test out and review is their most popular boy's print "Little Boy Blue"  (see pic below).  I really loved the retro vibe of the print, and how simple and contemporary it looked.
Now on to the tricky part...trying to decide which carseat to fit it on to!  In case you don't understand my dilemma, I have 3 kids ALL in 5-point harness carseats, and between our 3 vehicles we have 6 carseats!  Yes, I am sure you are all thinking how do we ever leave the house?!  I decided to put it on Mr. F's carseat first, though I wasn't sure how it would fit given that it is a Britax Boulevard and has a head protector that protrudes from both sides (see pic below):
I was able to fit the cover over this carseat and could use it fairly well, but it just didn't fit perfectly (which makes sense given that the company suggests fitting it to the Marathon).  The head protectors just aren't meant to fit with any carseat cover, so I decided to try it on our older model Britax Marathon, and our Graco Nautilus.  It obviously did not fit the Nautilus, mostly because it covered up the cupholder portion; however, it did fit the Marathon perfectly (and it is at least 10 years old).

I noticed that the entire cover is lined with the satin solid brown shown on the rolled top portion of the cover, and could even be used reversed if you wanted (since the snaps work both ways).  One thing I was not sure I really liked at first were the snaps which ran most of the way down each side for the straps to fit through.  I thought I would prefer if there were holes for the straps instead....that is until I pulled it off to try on all my other carseats.  To get this cover on and off of your carseat it will take you LESS than about 10 seconds-why, because you DO NOT have to remove the carseat from the car!  Since the cover has elastic around the edges and snaps down the sides, all you do is fit it over your seat (I left the existing cover on) and then close the snaps around your 5-point harness straps!  So easy I think even Grandma could do it :)

These covers would be really great for those of you who feed your kids full meals in the car....yes, I know we all say we never will do that, but really?  I won't tell!  Since this cover goes on and off so easily, you could clean it every few days in the washer.  I washed mine on cold and then let it air dry overnight, and by morning it was completely dry and had no wrinkles (perfect, I don't iron)!

Baby Bella Maya offers a lot of cute designs for both boys and girls and even has some cute covers for your Baby Bjorn (check out the adorable pink satin one)!

Disclosure:  I was given a toddler carseat cover by Baby Bella Maya to facilitate this review.  All words and opinions are my own.
