Well, anything having to do with singing is a BIG hit in our house, so I knew I had to test it out. I pushed on the toy's torso and it sang a note. Mr. F perked up immediately! I pushed it again, and another note, then another. It sounded just like the toy was singing a song. I HAD to buy it. Plus, what shopping trip to Target is complete unless you plan on spending $7 and end up spending $70 right?!
Once I brought these home the real fun began. The kids loved playing with them, and creating little songs back and forth together. You can press their hand and they will change pitch, and even sing songs, such as: Skinnamarink and Yankee Doodle (those are the ones we purchased).
The website shows that there are 16 different type of Sing-A-Ma-Jigs including special ones for Easter and Valentine's Day (smart marketing). They can do Harmony together, Chatter in Jibber-Jabber, and each one sings a unique song.
I see this toy as being the newest collectible for 2011. Smart idea Mattel. Let's hope I don't become too addicted.
Disclosure: None, I purchased these myself.
